On Tuesday when I finished my essay on TCM I felt sad thinking ‘Well, that’s about fun assignments for a while’ but then here I am two days later writing an essay on 1950s TV sets.  I love being a film student so much.

Yesterday at work one of my colleagues asked a customer “Any drinks you would like with your sandwich?” and the guy responds with a strong masculine Glaswegian accent “Chilli sauce.” and now I can’t stop laughing at this.

Oh come on, I just did Thirteen’s The Magic and it wasn’t scary at all. For once I thought I might have a good scare since everyone was blabbing about this all over the internet but it seems nothing really frightens me anymore… Might give the midnight game a shot in the future, but I have serious doubts. Listening to the A Nightmare on Elm Street soundtrack in the middle of the...

Do you ever just stop everything and start looking at cool pictures of wooden house interiors so the universe will have an idea about what your future house should look like once you graduate and get a good job? Merry Christmas everyone.

Spent my whole day writing an essay. Now of course it’s more than 200 words over the maximum word limit (it was supposed to be between 1500 and 2000 and mine is over 2200) and I have no idea what to delete because every word is essential. (And how am I supposed to delete 200 words in the first place? That’s like a full paragraph!) I could be at least happy for the semester to finally...

For some reason after 7:30pm most people at Tesco look scary and talk in languages you can otherwise only hear in exorcist movies.

They keep playing songs I love on Friday Night Fever. This feels so precious, like the nicest dream ever with me being teleported back to the 80s but then it’s real life. :)

Should I ever end up at a TV carrier I will make a show that has no first series because the actual first series will be called “Season 2” and everyone will be so confused. That is my random 11/11 thought.

Do you just know the feeling when you’re in love with an actress so hard that all you want to do is draw pictures of her, watch her movies and things like that? Well I’m watching Deviation and you can guess the rest. :D

Reading through forums today, I started thinking about people who dislike (in most cases hate) Thomas Kinkade’s art. How sad their lives must be. Not because they did not like his art, but because they seem to be unable to enjoy simple, idyllic beauty. And most of them are proud of it. They say that Kinkade’s works are pseudo-art, mainstream and are for tasteless viewers. You know, I...

Watching Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction and feeling like a kid again. I always watched this show after Sunday lunches at my Grandma’s place, now I’m here in my room at the halls, having lunch and watching it again. Time flies. But this show is so awesome, a little cheesy but I still enjoy guessing.

Watching The Descent Part 2, this idea just happened to me and now I can’t take the whole thing seriously again. You know at the credits, half of the actors are listed as “Crawler”, which of course is fair, because that’s what they are in the movie. Now, how funny would it be if by accident, one of them would be listed as “Himself” instead. And some people...

So far today I was like Lalala nice new day and suddenly I realized Oh my God! It’s autumn! So I could turn the page in my calendar and now I’m in a super-good mood for it’s the beginning of my favorite part of the year :D And today is also mom’s birthday! Right now I’m watching this great movie May starring Angela Bettis, one of my major actress crushes, and...

Skype group calls get real messy when the fourth person joins in :D I can’t wait to do this on a regular basis from now on! (Also, when typing the date have I only realized that we have finally reached the last day of summer! Yay! It’s finally autumn, I can start watching Halloween movies now :D) But for this night it’s finally time to watch Midori, the animated version for...

I’ve always thought that Lynch filmed Rabbits especially for Inland Empire so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it’s actually an independent short film. Watched it recently and I must say, it lived up to my expectations. It takes gloominess to a new level. Not like if it wasn’t gloomy enough in Inland Empire, which I watched at the movies last year. It started at 11pm...

After about five minutes I’ve realized that maybe it’s not the best idea to watch Game of Thrones in front of my grandparents. (Well you just know it’s provocative nature.) Then again, I remembered seeing my grandfather reading the GoT books some months ago so I figured it was alright after all. He’s 87 years old by the way. I can’t explain how cute it is to imagine...

I NEED:
leahonomatopoeia: A live action remake of The Road to El Dorado starring Tom Hardy as Miguel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Tulio OR An Inception spin-off series starring Arthur and Eames and them having adventures and what-not. Both. Both. Both. Both is good.
